Be prepared for beautiful views and lots of climbing, as you can literally walk all over this castle and on its battlements. The military museum contains weapons and armor from many periods. However, all explanations are In Portuguese. Definitely worth a visit, particularly for those...More

Take a trip up to the castle and it's well worth it, lovely to walk around and far reaching views, couple of good little cafes up there for lunch or a coffee.

Very well preserved castel. Inside The Walls you can find people living in the nice and well preserved houses, people are nice and welcoming.

I heard this castle is more than 600 years old ,when I was there ,I have seen so many visitor ,and the people around the castle is very friendly and helpful ,honestly inside of the castle is more beautiful than outside

Castelo de Braganca is a very well preserved medieval castle in Portugal, in the historic centre of Santa Maria. Built in 1409.
