Lovely gate and iconic to enter inside the Medieval Braga. You can definitely take good pics over there but I would suggest just in the afternoon because of the sun. The surroundings are also lovely for a petit yet remarkable city as Braga

It’s a great entrance to the old city, the photo does not do it justice. We spent 2 days here and would have happily spent more time.

Nice historic old town to walk through. Plenty of things to see, cafes for a snack, historic sites. Liked Braga all around.

The walking tour starts from here. The arch acts as a magnet with its colored glass. Ity came to life with the crowd of people wearing period costumes and wandering in and out of the arch and main street.

The gate to the city, nice old fashioned architecture. One enters the pedestrian city which is very nice and full of cafes. Free walking tours depart from the gate.
