This is the heart of old town Funchal . Many famous restaurants are here. Probably a bit too turistic but also the local people come to eat to this street .

Worth a walk. Just try to avoid eating at all of the restaurants in this street or you will end up very well fed, but too fat to get down the narrow street!

Take a stroll to see the many 'mini' masterpiece's doors, walls and windows painted in many styles and colours. Can become a little crowded so be patient. Many cafe/bars and restaurants to pop into.Well worth a look.

Just take your time to see and analyse all the doors, they have beautiful stories, and you can imagine whatever you want, they give you things to think, and some of the best restaurants are located here.

Beautifully painted doors, particular favourite Chez Guevara. Lots of cafes and restaurants along here, staff trying to get you to eat at their place, if you can get past that it's well worth a stroll along there.

A great experience to drift along this street and view the many individually designed doors, great art and souvenir shops and most of all dine at some of the many great restaurants.

The street is packed with people and restaurants with staff trying to get you in but if can ignore all this it is worth a stroll up and down to see all the art and creativity on the doors.
