I enjoyed this garden very much and recommend making at least 1/2 a day of it. 3 hours wasn't enough to see/enjoy everything.

I arrived at the entrance by cable car. Many tourists seemed put off by the admission fee of 12.50 euros (possibly after paying 16 euros for the cable car round trip from Funchal to Monte) but these gardens are well worth the cost and far...More

What more can I say about this destination at the top of the cable car that others haven't before me? Absolutely loved walking through this piece of heaven, the 70,000 square meters deserved more of our attention that one visit could yield so we went...More
