I was with a tour group and we were given some time on our own to explore Setubal; it was a total surprise and not on our itinerary. I was impressed with the architecture, the shops, the restaurants and overall happy vibe to the town....More

The avenue has several highlights like Livramento market dated 1876 with marvellous blue tiles and more than a dozen fish restaurants together with special fried cuttlefish

The Avenue stretches along the riverfront, and affords lovely views of the port and ferry area to the left, the sandy outline of Troia straight ahead, and the interesting coves to the right that lead in the direction of Sesimbra.

Setubal has a unique wide avenue, almost like a park in the centre. There are plenty cafés and restaurants too. Cycling is also possible with a dedicated path. Architecture is typically Portuguese with a few nice buildings

Majestic Avenue ( Avenida) and surroundings, old historical constructions are well preserved, with in stone structures and modern day construction side by side without spoiling the sentiment of old times. Cafe, restaurants and typical Portuguese pubs are available on both side of the avenue. Beautiful

Well maintained avenue in the middle of Setubal. The surrounding area is well looked after and definitely a good place for a walk. Lots to see on this avenue.

Setubal has become a good city to visit. Its clean, calm and with great places to stay at and eat. Luisa Todi is a central avenue and has the unique Municipal Market which is a real germ and a must for all visiters.
