Chickens and Peahens with their chicks, ducks and terrapins on the pond/lake. What a delightful park to wander round. A cafe at it's centre selling lovely food and drinks in a quiet, natural setting.

You're not going to be whipped into a frenzy of excitement by this park but it's a lovely shady spot. Spend an hour here and feel relaxed.

We stopped here for coffee on our walk into town and it was so relaxing. My animal loving daughter spent the whole time watching the turtles, peacocks and chickens. It was a lovely cool spot.
