Small pool, over-crowded and dirty... (plenty of cigarettes everywhere on the soil) Is that nature promoted by São Miguel ?

Strange feeling to climb into the sea on a cold day and find the water hot as in a bathtub. Most warm inside , close to the inner cliffs. Nice and natural, for free and no excess in touristic arrangements. Go on low tide to...More

We UTV'd there and planned with the tour guide to go into the hot springs when the tide was low. Unique sensation to be in hot water while cold waves crash in. Keep a hold of the rope, especially if not a good swimmer
