The Quinta das Três Cruzes, the bigest greenhouse house of the pineapple. It was interesting to know the growth techniques of pineapple a greenhouse.

Biological pineapple production in greenhouses that takes 2.5 years to get to the end product. Very friendly team that shows you how everything goes, this after a small video presentation that explains the main things about pineapple production. A must stop point.

30-minute stop on 7 cities tour. Loved the range of products sold and gained interesting knowledge of the growing process. Friendly guide made the tour interesting.

It was a pleasant enough half-hour stop during a coach tour. But seen one pineapple, you've...... if you get my drift. They are nice people though, and the gift shop is well stocked.

We enjoyed our visit to the pineapple plantation very much. It is about a 45 minute walk or a 5 minute cab ride from our hotel (The Lince). It is the smaller of the 2 plantations in the city but it is the better one...More

you can see the whole growing process from cuttings to harvest and also purchase the fruit or jam made from it. Highly sought after on the mainland for holidays and available in markets here

At the start they showed us a video of the process of the fruit, the video had a poor quality but a good explanation. The visit was good, but the best thing were the local products and the Ananas (pinapple). Highly recommend you to try...More
