A beautifully set out military cemetery that seems to be in people's gardens. Well maintained and containing grave of double vc holder Noel Chavasse.

This is a cluster of three cemeteries that are integrated into the small local community. Although beside a busy road somehow it becomes invisible when walking among the graves. Noel Chavasse, a double VC winner lies here in one of the carefully manicured CWGC Cemeteries....More

A very quite commonwealth war cemetery th led behind some houses. Very peacefull. It contains te grave of o e of the o my three holders of the VC and bar.

Having seen the 2 VC's belonging to N Chavesse, it was a must stop on our battlefield tour weekend to pay our respects to this incredible man, well worth stopping off for en route.

Not that I am aware of, although given the location there must be something. The other idea is rent a bike and go the 5-6 kMs west of Ieper. Lot of e-bikes for rent in Ieper.
