This is a beautiful cemetery within easy walking distance of Ypres. Many of the other cemeteries are in the middle of the countryside accessible only by car or tours. Immaculately kept as usual.

The beauty of this, the size of this, and the enormity of what it all stands for is something I will never forget on such a beautiful autumn day. We will remember them.

Just on the edge of town and another well kept tribute. My Grandadfather returned but I was able to show respect to members of his battalion that were lost in Ypres.

A large CWGC concentration cemetery. Located in the town of Ypres, this cemetery is a little unusual as most of the cemeteries are usually in peaceful countryside. Well worth the 10 minutes walk from the town centre to visit. Two of the graves are brothers...More
