Slightly overrated in my opinion, we found this by mistake and whilst we enjoyed walking down (alongside a lot of other tourists) we much preferred following the Ghent street art sorrynotsorry map (available at the tourist office!)

A narrow alley covered with graffiti art all over. I had expected quite something, but found most drawings to be rather immature and clumsy with some notable exceptions. Maybe the graffiti season just had not started yet.

alley pointed out by our guide-with some explanations see many in many countries today it seems a bit overdone=dark & a bit messy worth a walk down the alley

An unusual splash of colour that is in contrast to the surrounding sombre cathedrals and the grey walls of the medieval castle. Apparently started as a social experiment and now makes fascinating viewing as one walks through the little alley.

This alley is one of the more interesting things I saw in the city. The graffiti was interesting and brightened the passage.

Really interesting little alley with lots of graffiti and some street art. There are other areas of street art around the city too though so if you like street art then go find them

I thought this was quite cool and well done. An interesting little street, easy to find (if you have a map) and worth viewing. Ten minutes max is all the time you will need. Quite a contrast to the surrounding area.

I had been to Ghent 5 times before I accidentally came across Graffiti Street. It's a pedestrian alleyway in the city center with outstanding street art. Those who love good instagram pics will definitely make this a priority stop.

The coolest alley in Ghent! Streetart at its best, graffiti artist fan more or less freely do whatever they want here. So, check it out, you will be impressed. Don't worry it is a safe place to be located in the middle of the city...More

They change the graffiti all the time so the level is different every time you can. You can be lucky but...
