Gives you a Game of thrones sensation. Very beautiful. Easy to reach and very close to the other sights of the city.

This castle is enormous and has been heavily restored, children will love the torture chambers, so it's a bit gruesome. Fantastic views. Not suitable for wheelchair users.

It took us nearly 2 hours to walk through all the numbered displays on the self guided tour. The Castle has been well restored and offers some great photo opportunities when you climb up to the turrets and walk around the wall. When we were...More

This 850 years old castle is very well maintained. It has display of some old weapons. The view from the castle terrace is nice. It’s well located in the old town surrounded by pretty Flemish old homes. Deserves a visit when in Ghent or Bruges.

A bit overpriced for the overall experience. Felt hurried through the exhibits or the route feels short. Just noticed I didn't even bothered to take pictures. Some information boards of the exhibits dont hv English translation. Well conserved castled though.

A must! 10 euros per person - worth every cent. This castle has been around for about 1000 years. The view from the top it's unbeatable. We got lucky and got a clear sky. Duration between 1-2 hour.

The city center is very accessible. The best option is to leave the car outside of the heart of the town. It is very easy to get to the biggest highlights walking or cycling.

Yes, some parts were closed on our visit in April. But there is still plenty to see.
