They have good exhibitions and concerts, the museum is a bit of a labyrinth. And be ware of thieves, my wallet got stolen out of a locker.

Brilliant exhibitions being shown, a great collection of modern and historic art.
We attended one modern are exhibition, and photographic exhibition on the Harlem area scene in the late 80s, and a collection of historic paintings owned by the Medici family of Florence.
Friendly helpful staff and a lovely venue

This museum has good expositions but the accessibility for wheelchair users is absolutely horrible ! They are stairs absolutely everywhere. Taking the elevator is a lengthy protocol involving the company of a staff member. Would not recommend it for people with a handicap.

We visited the Bozar to see Morrissey. Our first time at the venue and it was a lot bigger than expected. It has other spaces besides the theatre where the concert is held. It’s a very impressive venue, only let down by the security being a bit too heavy handed with fans at the end of the gig.

We visit Bozar because of the Rinus Van de Velde exposition (Inner travels) Nice, interesting exposition. The place is well organized, cleaned toilet, lockers and portable stools, a nice book shop. Very good!

I visited the widely publicised Rinus Van de Velde Inner Travels exhibition with two friends from Antwerp. To the novice it provides an introduction to the wide variety of the production of this contemporary artist: life-size cardboard objects (a car, a train carriage, machinery), giant clay ashtrays, imaginary landscapes, monumental charcoal drawings, colour drawings of imaginary adventures and video performances. Visitors seemed somewhat bewildered by a video featuring the artist (or one of his assistants?) using his private part for an unusual karaoke session. As Marcel would say, it must be art because it is presented in an arts museum.

We have visited the David Hockney exhibition today with the family and it was very interesting yet disappointing.
Disappointed because there was no ability to live around with the baby buggie. We were kindly escorted with the lift to the second floor to visit the mean hall, but when it came to stairs, no assistant was offered and we weee even told that this is not the right place for babies and that they don’t appreciate bicycles in there either.
We were carrying the buggie ourselves, bet the thought was, that if there would be a person in a wheelchair, it would definitely have issues in moving up and down the stairs.
Will visit again, but todays service has left a bitter taste.

I am not going to enter into the debate on the artistic impact of the artist. World known artist of the late 20th century Keith Haring is a name which equal with engaged, demonstrative, hugely talented and artistically daring street artist.
But I will not spoil the beauty of the exhibition. A must! Beautiful and numerous paintings snd drawing, on different materials, clear and rich explanations, video installations brining in the spotlight the rich artistic life in NY of the 80s as much as the political activism linked to gender rights, the exhibition is one of the best in the last years.

Everyone knows his work but very few people know the person. The exhibition was interesting to understand the person and the evolution of the man’s work.

Brancusi could be met into great contemporary art museums of the world; the Fish, for instance came from Tate, if I remember well
what was different to Bozar exhibition was not the collection of sculptures, but the story behind them, the idea of becoming, how Brancusi developed himself in the master of form; the sculptures were just pieces in the story of Brancusi's becoming
under the shade of the big trees nothing grows, this was maybe the most important step, to escape from Rodin's shade - the rest is such a beautiful story

Can anyone inform me about the first few rows and why the seats would be priced cheaper in the Henry Le Boeuf Hall?

I wouldn’t know for sure, but I believe because they are lower than the scene, so the view upwards towards the performance is not the best. Middle seats towards centre of the room or even first balcony are the best.
We are going to see the Belgian National Orchestra in June can anybody advise me of the dress code please. Is it black tie??

I'm looking for a restaurant / bistro / brasserie in the neighbourhood of the Bozar. Suggestions anybody? Places you have been to yourself. Thanks

Now in 2018 you have in the museum two restaurants. Both good quality. One more expensive and bigger choice.
