So many amazing historic structures here. Restaurant and shops galore! Had fun checking out the boat ride tours and horse and buggy rides! Definitely a must do on your Brussels list of activities!

This is a UNESCO World Heritage site in Brussels. It is surrounded with absolutely stunning 17th century architecture. The combination of Gothic and Baroque styles are beautiful. I’m so glad that this summer, I visited The Grand Place again to view the Flower Carpet.

This Square houses all the old guild halls and town hall. It’s an amazing place for photos and is surrounded by many chocolate, waffle, and tourist shops. It’s clearly focused on tourism, but that doesn’t make it any less impressive.

Stunning medieval square in the center of the city. Day or Night it looks spectacular, however it is very busy with tourists. A must see. You can’t take a bad photo here.

You can't go to Brussels without visiting Grand Place (Grot Markt)...shame on you if you miss this attraction. Although it's loaded with tourists, its beauty is remarkable. The Grand Place is great for a casual stroll, restaurants and of course, waffles and chocolate.

I like the Brussels central market place, especially during periods of events when for example special lighting is in place. Now I missed this really - it got nearly a grey-old colour when getting dark.

Coming to Brussels and don’t pay a visit to the grand place, deserves a punishment! Ahahah my advise is for you to visit either by day and by night.

I could compare this square to the one in Prague. They both are beautiful. Grand Place is a bit more shiny and newer. A lot of tourists, of course, but that is the place to be if you are in Brussels.

Yes you can go at central taking metro 1-5 one stop. You can go also to Bourse taking the tram 3-4 ( pre metro) one stop. From your hotel is 10 min walk for the Bourse and Gare Centrale.
