Not exactly sure what's there to see in that. It's like ticking on your list another old site. There is nothing except an old gate in the middle of a crossing.

The old gate with two towers is theentrance to the old pictureque town of Mechelen. It is very impressive an reminds to the "Holsten-Tor" in the city of Luebeck/Germany.

The Brusselpoort ( Brussels Gate) is the only still standing old Gate of Mechelen. The building is imposing, easy to find but cannot be visited as far as I know.

Inside there is a nice museum. If you visit mechelen it's something worth the while. Takes aboit one hour .
