As you exit the Mauritschuis Royal Picture Gallery, the entrance to the Binnenhof is right next door. It is a lovely walk with a beautiful Protestant Church in the middle of the courtyard, along with a fountain. Perfect for photos!

An impressing building with a nice location near a small sea. The court yard is worth a visit with the golden statue.

Visited the place in a hurry, but has a strong medieval touch.I liked the view mostly from the backside, from the river.

Depending upon how fast you walk, it is possible to walk around where you mention within 15 minutes, but you would miss a lot of detail that the guided tour gives you.
