This is a beautiful park not far from the Hague city centre (about 45 minutes walk or about 15 by tram). It has an area for pic-nic and a playground for children, a few lakes and a beautiful rosarium garden, very quiet and relaxing.

The rosarium is large and beautiful (and I loved how well-labeled everything is!) but the roses are about done by now. Right across the parking lot is a great little kids' park. Definitely worth a bit of time to let the kids run around!

As of 1926 this park bears the name of a city official (Mister Westbroek). There are about twenty Thousand rose bushes in the rosarium. No paths of gravel, bricks of tarmac: you just walk over the grass. Wonderful!

This is a beautiful park situated just between Hague and Scheveningen. Take the dog for a walk, let the kids play or just take a seat an enjoy this green oase.

This is a great wee park, with a nice play area for kids and large ponds with ducks. It seems well used - we saw lots of families there and local fitness groups meeting there. We used it to walk from Scheveningen beach to Madurodam...More
