We travelled by bus No. 18), takes about 10 minutes from Central Station. Had a pleasant morning in the grounds of Clingendael and enjoyed viewing the gardens.

The Japanese Gardens in Clingendael Park The Hague are small but beautiful...! They are only open for a few weeks per year, in Spring and Autumn...! It's the only Japanese garden in the Netherlands...! xx

We visited on a damp day in October and had a very nice walk in the Japanese Garden and the Estate. The garden disappointed, being a place of rampant mosses and general gloom. Some nice features for photos etc., but not much to learn here...More
