In order to get to Kinderdijk, the best transport is to take the waterbus from Rotterdam (Erasmus bridge). It is quick amd cheap.

Great, leisurely way to get to far-flung parts of the Rotterdam area (including Kinderdijk) for a nice price and convenience. Think of the best bus service you've been on, make it better, AND put it on the water of a modern yet uncrowded European city.

While staying in the area we took the waterbus from Krimpen to Dordrecht. Great, inexpensive way to travel, especially when using your "OV kaart" (Public transportation card).

Taking the route 202 really saves much time from Rotterdam to Kinderdijk. Since it is a water route on a river, do not expect heavy waves or bumpy rides being with the journey.
