A nice surprise during our citywalk was along the water at the height of the crown bridge. A big market with all sorts of tasty snacks at unbeatable prices. Just great.

Really worth a visit! Every saturday there is a nice Market, not to big but a lot to see and buy! Fresh food, clothes, flowers.. Leiden is such a beautiful Lovely city!

Saturday markets don't get much better than this. Beautiful setting. Great atmosphere. Good local produce. Some tasty street food to enjoy. It was busy but not overwhelming at all. A great way to spend a half day.

I found a little coffee shp (don't recall the name), I got there when they opened and watched the majority of the market set up and the vendors come in for their coffee.
