The majority of the museum on our visit was closed, the very unhelpful male staff said we could see a small exhibition on poisonous snakes but still wanted to charge the full entrance for only this small part, I think we were being mislead.

The Naturalis Museum is closed. Instead of the big collections you can visit a little temporary exposition about poisonous animals and plants: you can find some glass cases with snakes, spiders, tarantulas and other reptiles and amphibious. The entrance ticket is 12,00€, too much for...More

Due to a renovation the exhibition is tiny. Not worth the entrance fee at all. No dinosaurs. Just a couple a rooms with snakes, spiders and other venomous stuff. Leave well alone until the new building is completed. Restaurant is also very poorly stocked, it's...More

I expected a science museum and got some entertainment park crowded with screaming children. Not enough air and very loud. Hardly worth a visit if you're looking to learn something.

We visited last week this exposition in Naturalis, which is under renovation for the coming years and enjoyed the exposition in a part of the museum, and enjoyed the quality of photo's we saw and the way they were presented to us.

The exhibitions, the computers, the looks of the models, everything feels prehistoric . A bunch of stuff is aimed at children but quite boring for them and for adults the place lacks good interesting exhibitions.

While the normal building is under construction, we visited a temporary museum site with the skeleton of Trix the T-rex. And even though you've seen dozens of documentaries and movies, it is amazing to see the beast up close. The skeleton has been beautifully preserved....More

Darwin would lick his fingers if he was to visit this museum. It has loads of life explained in a very easy to understand way. The programs for kids are both educational and fun. And there's quite a complete collection.
