Interesting museum near Gouda's central market place. The old chapel houses some impressive art works, and there are extensive displays of art and ceramics throughout the two floors of the museum. The history and gradual expansion of Gouda is well documented within the museum, and...More

Museum Gouda is a nice museum for people with specific interests. There is enough to see, but not really the top items. For that reason it is not so attractive for the big mass, though if you are really interested in art it might be...More

Shame that as it's in such an old building it has not been possible to put in a lift... thus would make it difficulrt for people with mobility issues but a appart from that a good museum

You're right, it is a pitty. Hopefully the municipality of Gouda can change this shortly (it's a monumental building, so till now it has still not succeeded).

Visited the museum in July 18. Interesting displays, though a bit more english translation would have been appreciated. A fine collection of pottery. The museum has a fairly large restaurant offering a good choice of dishes. We thought the food excellent.

The old farmacy is very nice. The maquette of the old city is very interesting. They have all kind of objects in the rooms. Paintings, furniture, pipes and glass and pottery. Also changing exhibitions. Nice building with a little garden and a restaurant.
