Not all ugly hotel buildings, but a mixture of architecture and buildings - you like it or not of course. NIce view at the see and you can see the large ships passing by. A nice walk from the beach to the 'Kazematten' or to...More

The walk on the promenade is also a good experience during the winter. It is quiet but still the Sea is demanding and intense by its mightyness

Very nice beach, scenic view of the far away opposite shores, lots of small boats and medium sized ships going by, lots of people jogging along or resting on the beach, many good restaurants around, lot of parking.

If you walk on the boulevard, you will get an idea of all the history that took place around this area. At several places you will find a sign that explains in detail about the building or the site.

Good place to visit. Nice and peaceful atmosphere. Worth to walk either alone or with company/family. At least during summer time)))))

Boulevard of Vlissingen is the best place to stroll especially in the nice weather. It's quite chilly in bad weather because of the wind from the big open sea. Make a stop in the cafe-restaurant "de Gevangentoren" to see the interior. You will see some...More

A walk along the boulevard and you can't help but experience the history of Vlissingen. Every few metres there is either an historical memorial or piece of military paraphernalia. Not many have an English translation. I was touched by the Jewish memorial. A visit to...More

Very unpleasant boulevard with modern and ugly buildings, no cafes or anything to see, no trees. The river is pretty wide so no good views of ships either
