We visited the museum on a whim today. Bought a ticket online (not for me, I have a Dutch museum card, which is a very useful thing, because it gives access to over 400 museums in The Netherlands, including this one) and went. We could...More

Although this museum is very popular among children, I really really enjoyed it. It’s very interactive and designed so you could explore the trains yourself. It’s like a educational theme park. In the winter it’s even possible to ice skate near the trains, just look...More

I spent a morning here, and as I am interested in railways, it was very enjoyable. I did find it slightly difficult at times to match exhibits with descriptions, but that added to the fun. Very nice on site catering as well.
