Lovely views from the top of the tower. The inside of the tower is interesting too. Those stairs are a killer though - we travelled here in late Autumn so we had too warm clothes on for such physical exercise indoors. Something to keep in...More

The Dom Tower is pretty easy to find in the city centre. When I was visiting, there was scaffolding around the top part of the tower so it was a shame as I couldn't really get the feeling of it. Yes it's very tall but...More

If you take the train to Utrecht, you will probably notice this tower sooner or later when you leave the station. At the time we visited (Oct '17), the church was undergoing renovations, so we didn't get the best photos of it. We didn't have...More

The Dom is visible from different points of the city and it is in a really nice area of the city really worthy to go in and around! The gothic atmosphere that is created around it is amazing!

If you are up for the climb, it is a very interesting tour and great views when you get to the top. You get to see the bells and other rooms inside. The last part is particularly narrow stairs, so don't do it if you...More

This is a marvellous tour with exceptional views and lovely history. Just make sure you are fit and healthy as those stairs will test you. 465 of them and the last level is a tight circle that tests the thigh muscles

Climbing the DomTower was such a highlight of our trip to Utrecht. Although currently under renovation, the tower remains open to guided tours (and the renovation did not impact the experience at all). Our guide was helpful and balanced the Dutch/English language well. The pace...More
