Very exiting guided tour under the surface of the historic Dom square in Utrecht. Back to the time of the Romans you can see how this place was built up and destroyed by army's or tornados.

Initially there is too much faffing. Yes, it's nice to know the background history but this could be done differently. I found the whole "stand round teachers table" talk slightly awkward and it made me feel uneasy. The film was really all you needed as...More

Loved this. Learned so much about the history of the city in a fun way. We got quite competitive trying to find the sensors with our torches! The pre tour background talk was conducted in English for a small group of us that weren’t Dutch...More

This is a great experience with interesting history and story about how Domunder came about. It is a great indoor museum especially when it rains. Nice interacting guide too.

Cool setting with a very interesting historical background. Long lecture by the guide and three films. What you can see is quite small and somewhat disappointing.

Browse through the pages of Utrecht’s history through this partially guided tour which combines exhibits, videos, guided explanations and an interactive ‘archeological expedition’ to fully appreciate the history of Utrecht. Recommend buying tickets online a week before.

Partially guided tour (1.5 hrs) near Dom church. A very interesting, interactive tour with professional guides. Really nice visit if you’re in the center of Utrecht. Recommend booking one week in advance.

Our guide was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable and made sure to get everyone involved for the stories she told. You'll learn the history of the cathedral as the center of Utrecht for 2000 years - I was expecting maybe a little more about Utrecht beyond...More

Fantastic learning opportunity for learning about the past 2000 years in Utrecht. This experience was so interesting and our guide was a humorous, gifted teacher. If you enjoy history, don't miss this tour!

The place itself is average but the tour guide was excellent and very passionate about the place. He provided a lot of information about the city and its history.
