not exactly Yosemite or Yellowstone but a beautiful hilly dune park leading to the atlantic; we were recommended to this by the bike shop we rented from in Haarlem.

Kennemerduinen at the North Sea represents the beauty of the sea and sand away from the hectic beach of Zanvoort. The whole area is simply wonderful. It was a pitty that this day it was no wind at all as we carried our kitesurfing stuff...More

beautiful place in the Netherlands. Worth to visit with your family, especially in summer time. It has the best restaurant in the world ''filoxenia''.

We took an enjoyable short walk on the easier route as we weren't sure what to expect. Interesting look at the natural vegetation that covers the sand dunes. I assumed it would be more barren windswept sand.

Beautiful landscape containing of dunes near the sea. Ideal place for long walks or cycling tours. Outside the season you will hardly see other people.

Take your bike (or rent one in Zandvoort), get a picnic and explore! It's so worth it. Every time feels like a mini vacation. We love it.
