Tucked away in an industrial area, the bar was very quiet the day I visited the brewery. Wide selection of beer both draft and bottle. Friendly staff.

Very unusual tasting room situated as it is in a renovated garage with minimal décor inside. Also, it is at the end of a street whose housing turns into an ambulance station & small industrial units partway down. Yet this place does have its own...More

Odd that there are so few reviews and the last one complained that they went to a brewery tap (this place) and were expected to drink beer. Mmm. Let's go to MacDonald's and ask for a KFC . Anyhow, minimalist garage bar on the outskirts...More

It is well worth making the effort to go to this place. Its at the end of a suburban street and the taproom, is essentially a converted garage. However, they have 5-6 taps on plus bottles mainly from their own brewery which produces some top-notch...More

The people who run it are cool, if not the friendliest. The ensure a wide range of activities are available and support the local community in this. Their wine is excellent but they prefer you to drink beer, unfortunately I find the beer a bit...More

Highly unpretentious, this is a down to earth microbrewery outlet. We spent the afternoon (open Wed - Sun 16:00 - 21:00) sitting amongst a relaxed group of people drinking some really great craft beer. Music was somewhat eclectic, and the tap room is very basic...More

One of the more mature microbreweries around with a good range of beer. Its not a beer bar as its a basic structure (or garage). It is only open 5 days from 16.00-21.00 and its not for the usual tourist to be honest i.e. you...More

Genuine no pretentious brewery tap, friendly atmosphere and great beers. If you are lucky snacks. Not to be missed by beer enthusiasts visiting the city.

So I live in the neighborhood, but for some reason I never made the short trip down to Butcher's Tears despite being A) a former homebrewer that's very into beer and B) someone who loves tiny tucked away spots in my neighborhood. Butcher's tears was...More

This converted garage housed in part of a building which seems to function part of the time as an art installation, is unusual and is a tasting room for their locally brewed beers. Often, people use it as a meeting point for occasions such as...More
