The tower dates back to the 1600s. It is the highest church tower in all of Amsterdam. It is easy to find whether you're riding a canal boat or just walking. It is next to the Anne Frank house on Prinsengracht.

It is hard to miss the tower which is part of the Westerkerk and easily viewed from the canal if you are doing a boat tour or if you heading towards the Anne Frank house.

It's a short 30 minutes activity: you climb bunch of stairs, hear a bit about the history of the place and finally enjoy a great view. I think it was 8euro p.p. We had fun.
