Helpful to beginners, usually enough seating, had less of a bar vibe than some other coffeeshops (which is nice), and the hot chocolate is great.

Really awesome quirky looking place. Upstairs and bar downstairs. They come to your table to serve you. *See menu pics* We got a hot chocolate and a coffee. Both were really nice! Great and friendly atmosphered place. Would definitely recommend adding it as a stop.

It's one of the oldest and the best-known coffeeshops in Amsterdam providing really nice stuff. The choice is quite diversified, so you won't be disappointed ;)

After trying a few coffee shops in Amsterdam, Abraxas became our favourite. Very friendly staff and patrons. Clean, well lit and drinks are not over priced.

Tasty coffee, delicious hot chocolate, cool joints (skunk, purple). Greaft atmosphere as well. My advice to anybody who wants to try something very "Amsterdam style"

...there are better, more welcoming coffeeshops out there, don't waste your time visiting this one. Whilst this coffeshop is hidden away, the actual vibe of the place isn't that good. Staff were not friendly or helpful, if anything they came across bossy -don't sit in...More

Amazing interior, friendly service, and tasty cakes (although not so strong). I think it's a unique experience, that everyone should see.

The atmosphere is good, the coffee shop is cosy. The brownie was tasty but I'm sure it didn't have the 0,5g weed they say it had.. We bought 2 space cakes and it had no effect at all. What a waste of money!

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring

You cannot take children into any of the coffeeshops in Amsterdam and I would suggest to do so would be an absolutely awful idea. The Dutch are very tolerant people but it’s a bit ignorant to assume they would accept... More

Not sure - I had a got chocolate and it was the kind that had a big lump of real chocolate on a stick that you stir into the hot milk. It was yum. Don't know if they offer vegan space cake sorry
