For this time of the year, the plant selection and prices were amazing. There were tulips of every color and certainly made you want to come back in the Spring when they are all in bloom.

A typical market mainly selling food and clothes. It caters more for locals than for the tourist. If you want to eat like the locals this is as good a place as any to give it a try.

If you are considering visiting a market during your stay in Amsterdam, go to Albert Cuypmarket or even the Flea Market in the old town. Avoid the Dapper Markt. This market is not a tourist attraction and should immediately be removed from your itinerary. It's...More

Nothing special for tourists, cheap clothes, materials, but there is a stall and a shop called Boer Geert with a very nice shop owner who sells cheese. If you don't like to spend too much for the same cheese, that you can buy in the...More
