The beers are very good. Try a flight if they are available. It was busy when we went and they ran out of clean glasses. The windmill is adjacent to the brewery and adds to the atmosphere. They have a great circular bar, but sit...More

Completely enjoyed the 'fresh' tap beers here at Brouwerij 't IJ. The 'Ostrich' beers are my favorite in Holland. Best tasting to me are the zatte and Columbus. Appreciated the sunshine and cheese plate whilst relaxing with the beer. You must see this 'Windmill' brewery...More

The service is very rude. The staff refused to help to explain the beers even when you order a flight of samples. They even used curse words when I asked for an explanation. Not worth a visit, especially because the beer tastes like homebrewed beer...More

What a beautiful and modern brewery next to a windmill, we visited on Fri, 4/20/2018, after the tour to Keukenhof. Could not pronounce, but we surely had a great time there and loved everything we tried. Plus, the staff are very friendly:)

Yes, it's beer only, but how's the time to try if you are solely a wine drinker. You might be converted!

Yes its a great place to visit for a beer, you can sit outside, open from 2pm until 8pm, the windmill is picturesque and its also near the single canal and the zoo.
