With a big curiosity we did the tour. Very interesting history about the Amsterdam stock exchange. Though after the tour we still have no interest in those activity, we're glad that we did it. It's not only the tour but seeing the interior of the beautiful building self is worth visit. What an experience!.

The Amsterdam Stock Exchange Experience is a tour of the present location of the world's oldest stock exchange and includes history back to 1602. It features a fun trading game. The present exchange building that you tour was built in 1913 by the son of the architect of the Central Station.

We were very excited to visit this Amsterdam exchange experience and was really looking for it.

While we were there on 21 Jun morning, we were being informed that there was no such experience on the day of the visit. Although disappointed, we left. Before we left, my wife went to the toilet which was near the receptionist desk.

I enquired further on the items that were on display in front of the reception, on where I can purchase them. The tall lady at the reception said they are not for sale. But she was promptly corrected by another staff that they are. It's apparent that the items are for sale as they are prices attached to them.

After my wife came out of the toilet, the tall lady ran to her and was extremely rude and said in a condescending way : you should have asked before using, this is not a public toilet!" . It was uncalled for her to shout at me. She rolled her eyes like a headmaster which was very rude.

Next time, please have better training for the staff. Such rude tall lady should not be managing the counter, as it affects the experience that the exchange is trying to deliver.

The toilet is located near the counter, and as visitors,it was assumed that we can use it. They should have labelled it private toilet or follow restaurants and have a sign indicating that this toilet is only for people patronising here. People going for the Amsterdam exchange would have used it as well. If they do not want their visitor to use it, they should have place the toilet behind the reception counter.

The manner at which we were talked to, really upsets me. Her tone was extremely rude and she should not have shouted. She could have just said this is for private use.

To be looking forward to this and to get such a rude reception was unwarranted and this really spoilt our whole holiday.

Do not visit this experience and let your day be spoilt by the tall rude lady managing the reception counter.

Concise overview of stock markets in general and particularly the Amsterdam Exchange, one of the oldest in the world. Two interactive portions allowed visitors to assess their trading expertise, and to put their experience to work - fun and informative. It's walking distance from the railway station, so convenient for other tourist sights.

A really enjoyable and very professional tour organised in the building of the Amsterdam Exchange.

From rich past merchants history to high tech modern trading, it is also the story of the city and its people over several centuries.

Not to be missed while in Amsterdam.
