This is a major red brick building along Damrak Street. The clock tower is a landmark. We chose not to climb the tower or visit the museum.

Yet another wonderful looking building along the beautifully completed Damrak. This main entry point in to the city has been so wonderfully restored. Looks so good.

The museum is very original and the art is unlike anything I've ever seen. The art pieces are painted / sculptured on very small and unusual materials: fruit seeds, rice, onion skin, wasps wings, eraser tip, shaving blade, oreo cookie, slice of banana and many more. You get a magnifying glass to look at this pieces in the entrance.
In the second part of the museum, the art is so tiny that each piece has its own microscope attached to it.

Beautiful building restaurant with drinks, but pretty standard food, and barely any choice apart from snacks and burgers. Don't expect an actual restaurant.

We had two beers and a coffee at this café.
The coffee was not good. (Milk was over frothed and coffee tasted awful).

The reason for my poor rating was a comment made by the staff.
I asked the waiter for tap water and they told us to "get it from the toilet".
At first I thought it was a joke, but it was quite aggressive.

Was recently at a conference in this building - large conference areas were great with excellent sound systems. However, some of teh smaller rooms were both very small and only separated by a curtain from the main thoroughfare, so if you are planning many breakaways sessions, it really doesn't work

I was at this place to attend a 5.5 days conference and really liked it. Early 1900's architecture built with red bricks and now converted in a convention centre. Few of the advantages are central place with easy access by tram and cab and even you can walk to many nearby monuments or other places of interests. Lots of shops to buy souvenirs just across the road along with Casinos.

We visited Beurs van Berlage during May 2018 to see the My Name Is Prince exhibition. This we had already visited when it was at The o2 in London, so we were interested to see how it compared.

Unfortunately, the exhibition space felt a lot more crammed than The o2. Whilst all the same exhibits were there, there was far less space to move around.

The 'stage' area felt like it was squeezed into a corner rather than being a centrepiece like in London.

Beurs van Berlage itself is easy to get around and user-friendly, but a better exhibition space could have been chosen for the My Name Is Prince exhibition.

On the plus side, the staff at Amsterdam had taken the initiative to get souvenir bags produced, something completely lacking in London.

I spent over £120 at the London exhibition and got a cheap white carrier bag. At Amsterdam, the exclusive souvenir bag was a nice touch.

I would return to Beurs van Berlage to see a different exhibition and/or event as it was not their fault the My Name Is Prince exhibition was in such a small space. I would say that was a poor choice by those running it - the Paisley Park Estate perhaps?

Located twixt the Orange (Royal) Palace & the Red Lights of De Wallen (the so called "Red Light District" ) and in the middle of the main shopping area: this bistro type establlshment provides a welcome haven of peace, tranquility and character. Part of the old stock exchange with interesting murals on the walls. I have always found the food and service to be very good
