Awesome old skool vibe about the place. Old and young smokers will especially love the downstairs room.heard maybe closed now.I dearly hope not. Many great memories going back 17 odd years.if still open please make effort to visit
Went here with some friends; a number of the group bought a smoke. When we went to sit outside with them on the step (public area)they told us that we all had to leave if we hadn't bought anything. Fair enough. One of the girls...More
We visited the double reggae coffeeshop at Christmas time last year. Really good atmosphere (didn't use toilets).
Our second time in Amsterdam (August 2014) we popped in to the 'double reggae' which now is called 't reggae'.

I went to this place twice. And the staff were very nice and the coffee and weed were very affordable. The pure joints were my favorite. It is a great place to chill out. Only problem is that the toilets could use some better cleaning.
This little place, was really really warm,
We were here when it was really cold out so it was welcomed.
It is strange tho that all seats are backs against counter.
It was an experience I shall never forget
Upon our arrival, this was our first stop. It's a wonderful, low-key place that you can go to and just unwind. It's a great cozy environment and beyond welcoming. We had just arrived in town and were treated like regulars. Very down to earth. :)

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
