Our kids asked us to go to the torture museum as a break from the national museums. To be honest a lot of known contraptions and very little effort made for ethnicity, rather not have bothered!

This place is very small, and won’t take long to look around. It not interactive if that’s what you’re looking for- but fairly interesting and the medieval torture devices are pretty aggressive looking!

This sort of place probably exists to entertain those on stag dos and the like. It is certainly not one of the best museums in Amsterdam. I am giving this two stars rather than one star as the staff were alright.

We had this on our list of things we actually wanted to see in the city and were so disappointed. At €7.50 for admission, it's way over priced and not worth it. We were through in 10/15 mins having read everything. There should at least...More

We saw this museum advertised about a mile away from its location. Not having anything specific planned to do on our short stay in Amsterdam, we thought it would be a great place to visit. Upon arriving we paid about 7.50 euros each to enter...More

Very small museum with some interesting things . However unless you stop & read everything about the exhibits , then you could be out in 10 minutes . Not a cheap place to visit & not good for kids who wouldn't bother reading the texts...More
