With a trip to Amsterdam well-planned and full, it was an easy stop and a short walk from our B&B to see this unique memorial. While very simple in design and devoid of great ornamentation or flourish, it is an honorable site to visit--to pay...More

This was a simple but nice tribute. Recommend it if you are around this area but not worth it to go out of your way to come here.

We booked a boat trip and our guide pointed it out to us from the water. A very good gesture and an opportunity to reflect.

Take a look at the photo of this monument. There’s a urinal about 3 meters away from the monument and police officers question someone on the street. So, I guess it’s good that there’s a monument commemorating the deaths and suffering of the LGBT community...More

From the reviews we read..we thought a must.but a very conservative monument by the canal. Very close to Ana Frank House so just plan maybe 5 extra minutes when going to Ana Frank.
