Mostly XX and XXI centuries. Not everything is my cup of tea but it's always possible to find something interesting in such big museum.

The Stedelijk Museum has a superb collection of contemporary art. The permanent collection provides an extensive overlook of art, that bith informs and inspires. This musum is in central Amsterdam, located next door to the Van Gogh Museum and steps away frim the Rijksmuseum.

Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam is my favorite museum in Amsterdam. They have great collections. The art is amazing and the staff is friendly. Not that many people which is awesome.

This is such an amazing museum! The collections are just mind-bogglingly awesome. You can, and will, spend all day here. If you are a fan of modern/contemporary art and beautiful installations, you will love it here. My favorite of all the museums I've visited!

Although the permanent collection is impressive and most of the temporary exhibitions intriguing, I have to say that the museum is so poorly organized that it really lowered our impressions of the visit. But the Barbara Kruger hall is super nice! And we really liked...More

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping

It is not needed, the lines go quite fast. But it can never hurt to purchase it on advance.
