De Duin is a beautiful place to visit, what makes it even more special is to attend the Sunday morning service of the local church community. There is always a stunningly beautiful choir accompanied by a great lady playing the piano!

De Duif is a beautiful little church on the Prinsengracht in neoclassical style. You'll easyly pass the church without noticing it. From the outside the church looks unassuming, so when you walk through the door you don't know what to expect. You'll be in for...More

Small church with very nice architecture. The stretch of the cobble stones makes it a nice place to have stroll in the city..

This is part of western belt and most beautiful part of the Amsterdam canals, in my opion. Very narrow canal, quiet, peaceful.

Great place for a stroll in the summer/spring. Not sure how good this will be in the winter though! Definitely worth checking out.

Both the canal and the street wrap around the city center on the west, south and east. The Jordaan, where we stayed for a week on house boat in mMay, is in the west, Great neighborhood location.

A great walking city. Very safe. My teenage nieces walks on their own even deep in the night. If pickpocketting reaches the evening news, it says enough about the city. Have fun in amazing amsterdam.
