This is a nice street, as far as streets go. Quite trendy too, since it is full of world famous brands. Lots of fashion shops and very exclusive and expensive.

A walk along this street is a pleasant way of seeing the other Amsterdam: no canals but pretty boutiques, and well remodeled or newly built stylish houses. You can at any time turn on your left and head to the large Park nearby, an oasis...More

A very nicely appointed street with high end shoppes. Things close up rather early and you won’t find much nightlife in this area.

Just a step from Leidse Plein. A lot of the major brands. A charming place. Love that tiny houses and the dutch kind of living.

Located near the museum quarter, this is the street for high end shopping and branded stores. As I was with friends they had little desire to any high end goods shopping. I guess the decline in the £ after the Brexit vote did not help.

This street is like any other street with expensive stores. Like Milan, Berlin and so on. Only visit for shopping (if you have the money). Not interesting for sightseeing

I remember walking P. C. Hooftstraat many years ago. It was always considered a high end luxury street. Back then it was filled with locals selling clothing, linens, ceramics, blue delft, and much more with cafes and restaurants. Today, the only thing left of those...More

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
