Detailed planning has gone into presenting each section. Very convenient access to information about the display. Major display has multiple language placards with details. Enjoyed all the floors of display. Wish I had more time to explore.

The Rijksmuseum was amazing! Such a huge museum full of different things! There is something for everyone. We also loved the ice skating rink out the front and the food stalls etc.

Rijksmuseum is a must. Everyone told me this and I agree. Allow several hours and take your time. I made a reservation online, although in October, there was no line.

Very good museum but I was not allowed to take my small rucksack with me but there were ladies with bigger handbags allowed in.

Sorry for late reply. Parking expensive downtown. We took a tram in to the centre.

If you are real Escher fan, you might want to consider a trip to Leeuwarden to see the special Escher exhibition in the Fries Museum. Leeuwarden is a 2 hour train trip away from Amsterdam.
