Nice show of headdresses or crowns from all over the world. It's small and attached to a business diamond house. I happened to be in the area and had time to visit

Went as near the Rijksmuseum. Not a huge building, part of the I Amsterdam card so went in. There's a short video explaining how diamonds are mined and cut. The two floors of exhibitions, nice to see if your are near by.

It is a museum that can be visited in morning but for sure you will have a good idea of the history of the diamonds in The Netherlands. There are replicas of famous diamonds which were used by famous people. I think the museum should...More

Didn't like it that much. Old-fashioned exhibit stations, false stones, not very well explained, chaotic inscriptions etc. Not worth the 10 euros we paid

On the plus side it is free. It is a very small museum and it has some good displays, but more of a history of diamonds in Amsterdam would have been an improvement.

Small place and fake diamonds on show (glass), not worth the visit and the ticket. Souvenirs are also very expensive.

Really not worth the trip at all sadly . On our recent trip to Amsterdam we decided to visit the diamond museum as my husbands in the industry himself. I’m not quite sure how they can pass this off as a "Museum" as it’s more...More

We went to the Museum expecting a good information on Diamond however were disappointed on the whole set up. It is spread over 2 floors did not find a lift. I don’t feel it is worth wasting time here

Museum Quarter (Museumkwartier)
Top sites to see in this attractive and affluent part
of town include the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh
Museum, to name but two of the highly acclaimed
museums of the aptly named Museum Quarter. And if you
need a break from all the fantastic art, there’s the
Neoclassical Concertgebouw music hall and Vondelpark,
the city’s largest park. Shopaholics and luxury brand
connoisseurs will love exploring the high-end shopping
