In a very quaint section of Amsterdam where there are fish markets, coffee shops and less traveled streets, this is an amazing find. The owner was very kind and all of the displays excite the imagination! As others have noted, this is a great find...More

We chanced upon this shop by accident on our way out. The author is so friendly and engaging, explaining her displays and books. If you have children under 10 this is not to be missed.

A lovely and unexpected surprise of craft and children’s stories. Hard work and love has clearly been put into the mouse mansion. Kids will love it as will adults. Exquisite and beautiful.

This small corner shop in the canal district was such a great find. It’s stuffed with handbuilt, floor-to-ceiling doll houses inhabited by tiny stuffed animals. Each of the rooms tells a story from the “Sam and Julia“ series of children’s books. You can buy the...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
