A visit of the Nieuwe Kerk on the Dam square featured the 2017 world press photos of horrific scenarios around the world. This is not for the weak at heart or small children. Incidentally also enjoy this beautiful national treasure, the church.

In a small deserted church 300 m from the red light district you will find a very powerful photo exhibition. It is masterfully designed/set-up and comes with audio guide included in price. The trend seems to be that you need flames, blood or violence in...More

No doubt that the pictures are beautiful and they will touch your heart but must they always be pictures of mysery to win a price?. You can say 90% of the pictures are about death, war, poverty, disaster, sadness and such. And you have to...More

Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of
tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists
and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the
best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe.
Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops
of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones
Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods
such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring
