Yup, it's a beautiful bridge, but nothing special. I was crossing this bridge when I was going to Ice Bar.

Out of all the normal boring brick arched bridges in Amsterdam this one has a metal frame and sculpted arch brick frames reminiscences of boats that make it beautiful and unique, especially with green growth on it giving it a mystical fantasy appeal. This bridge...More

Saw photos of the gorgeous bridge and knew I had to visit during my trip. I was not disappointed except it was raining that day and made it hard to photograph

This bridge replaced the previous wooden bridge which had also been blue, therefore this bridge was also painted blue. It looks like a light blue/grey colour due to fading, but if you take a boat tour you will see it is light blue. The original...More

We went for lunch before going to a National Ballet performance of Coppelia. It is a nice place with local dishes and also with the so-called "international cuisine", to satisfy all kinds of customers. I liked it. I had the soup of the day which...More
