Whereas the days of fish gutting, cleaning and selling have long gone, the building work here still allows you to imagine how it was. Now, it is a lively area with several very good restaurants and bars.

This place is so special because of the many terrace in the surrounding. The original place where the fish was sold.

Beautifull part of the city in the centre of Alkmaar. Near the restaurant De Buren.Also very nice place for lunch
