The place gives a demonstrative account of the lifestyle and architecture of the Netherlands since middle age. There are replicated houses, boats, windmills, smithy with a blacksmith working there and many other samples from the past. It has also a lot of recreational sections -...More

My husband and I spent our last afternoon here. It was well worth the time. Interesting and fun. Beautifully landscaped and expansive. We needed a bit more time but were able to enjoy most of the park without rushing.

Wonderful museum full of interesting and educational facts about the Netherlands through the ages, from the farmers wives having their own pubs in the farmhouse to the slave trade and the East India company. We spent a wonderful day here and learned so much.

We arrived a little later in the day and when we got inside the park we were overwhelmed because we didn't really know where to start. What we saw was very interesting. It's always great to see what life was like back in the day.
