We took the train from Lugano and started to stroll all over! Wonderful town with local flavor. There was market along the square as well as singer group inside the palazzo. Lots going on to sit and watch.

Fabulous building so beautifully ornamented. My rating is biased on the fact that when we entered the courtyard, there was a very nice 20 person choral group performing. In addition to a beautiful courtyard open setting, the acoustics were exceptional.

Lovely building, with beautiful stained glass windows and lovely painted features. It's free to wander around and the tourist information centre is located here

Nicely renovated townhall. The courtyard is open for visits at all times. Great architecture. Worthwhile to visit.

There are so many beautiful and attractive things to see in Bellinzona. Taken by themselves, they are very nice. Taken as a whole mosaic, this is a city full of beauty, culture and history. The Palazzo Civico is one of those small pieces.

Whenever I'm in Bellinzona, I go to the Palazzo, even just to stand in the middle of the atrium and gaze upwards. It's recommended for those who love architecture.
