Lonely place for skiing. Traveling to Arosa during winter could be difficult (road closed due to weather conditions). Arasa is beatifull place with excellent service of ski lift. For sure I will back.

Just gorgeous ski resort!

We had a lot of fun on the ski slopes which was not too overcrowded. Happy to see that a lot of staff ensures that social distancing measures are respected. Bravo

Return to ski and walk
Mar 2020
Great skiing and walking some many things to do and so easy to get around. Non skiers can meet up with skiers at any of the mountain restaurants.

Great skiing, arduous drive to get there.

Arosa offers really great skiing, with slopes for all levels of skiers from beginner to most advanced. Lovely views from the slopes and a good choice of restaurants. If you come by train, the train station is just across from the ski lift. Ski rental shops are also just near the entrance to the ski lift. The only drawback is the access by car, this is via a very twisty steep narrow mountain road, not advisable for those that get car sick. Next time I visit, it will be by train!

Great ski area for all levels of expertise
Feb 2020
For a family ski trip I can definitely recommend the Arosa ski area. Great ski schools for those just starting out and enough good quality runs for those more experienced. With connected skiing between the Arosa and Lenzerheide ski areas (with the recently installed cable car) there are enough Red and Black slopes to push those looking for fantastic ski conditions during the season.

Great Train journey to Arosa
Jan 2020
From Chur to Arosa some fantastic views in the snow. Then after a coffee took cable cars to the top. Lucky to have clear sky with some beautiful views. Not cheap but then the memories and photos are worth it.

Busy and piste not well prepared
Dec 2019
Overall Arosa is a nice and varied ski resort but for a newbie not very well sign posted.

I was disappointed when i tried skiing down a piste that wasn’t closed off but also wasn’t prepared properly.

Also, the Waldabfahrt to Arosa was a bit criminal given that there are some skiers and snowboarders that don’t seem to care that there are also families with children and they just race by in a dangerous speed.

Good morning Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased that you enjoyed your stay in skiresort Arosa Lenzerheide. The signage on our slopes complies with the requirements and standards that apply in Switzerland. You can see whether a piste is open and closed on our interactive piste map. There, all information is always up to date and our guests can immediately see which facilities and slopes are open or closed. This is certainly the best option for very short-term adjustments. Unfortunately, there are also winter athletes here from time to time who do not comply with the FIS rules and who are out on the slopes without consideration. We constantly warn our guests that they should adhere to the FIS rules. With high numbers of guests, such as in the last few days, the perception can often be much more extreme. We look forward to your next visit to Arosa Lenzerheide. Kind regards Your Arosa Lenzerheide team

Day trip to the resort!
Jul 2019
Summer visit in July 2019. Amazing fun little train trip from Chur and it stops right in front of their biggest lift to the summit. Buy their "all inclusive" one day Arosa card (costs 18 chf, but within a bigger group it is 14 chf), with it you can access all summits.
The top ride takes about 20 minutes divided into two lifts. So an up and down visit takes 40 minutes and you have to add the time spent viewing or taking pictures. A restaurant provides people with something to eat.

Everything is growing rapidly more hotels roads tracks lifts. Tried a pizza place near the lake, good food. Prices from 10 to 25 chf, just remember most places serve drinks excluded so everything extra costs.
Three tiny lakes, you can do pedal boats in the town lake. The upper lakes are available for swimming but are cold around 10 to 17 degrees even on hot days brrrrrrrrrrr.

A interesting day trip in combination with our bus travel to Chur. Hope you also will enjoy Arosa and their close by town Lanzerheide. Both are growing to serve ski people, their domestic advantage to others are the all inclusive card.
