Great fun! Good information given and a lovely activity but VERY EXPENSIVE! Cost around £200 for a family of four. That works out at about £17 per chocolate bar that we each made!

We didn't order from the menu, but we did shop their amazing selection of Swiss chocolate brands. Milkboy's Crunchy Caramel with Sea Salt was a favorite for us. We were also able to bring a fun, naughty little chocolate home for a friend, ha!

We took the chocolate making class and it was a fun way to learn about chocolate making. You get to make your own chocolate bars to take home and decorate it with a crazy amount of sprinkles, nuts, etc. The chocolate tasted like a regular Lindt bar you could buy at any supermarket,,,

I booked my family for the chocolate class a couple of months prior to arriving in Interlaken. We were originally suppose to arrive at 4pm but I was contacted earlier in the day and was asked to move to 6pm. I'm so glad I agreed! The class was only my family so we had a private class! I can't remember the name of the wonderful lady who taught our class. She was from Colombia and was so sweet. My husband and 16 year old son were a little skeptical prior to the class but they enjoyed it as well. Of course, our chocolate bars were a great snack the next day!
FYI- We arrived early so we snacked on the chocolate covered strawberries which we highly recommend!

We did the chocolate workshop as part of our stay in Interlaken and what a wonderful 70 minutes spent learning about chocolate, making chocolate and having some fun. Not only that but the place does drinks, food and is set in a lovely, pleasant environment with friendly, smiling staff. Not only that but the playlist was spot on for me - I appreciate that's a personal musical choice !!
Go there, you won't be disappointed.

Our son wanted to try his hand at making his own chocolate, so we signed him up for a chocolate making workshop

The workshop duration is 75 min; and after that you need to wait at least another 60 min to let the chocolate cook down before being able to take it home - so do budget enough time for it.

We decided to collect our son’s creation the next day (Friday); thankfully they were opened till 10 pm (they open at 2 pm, and we were in the middle of our other activities)

We had so much fun. Loved snacking on all the varieties of chocolate (dark to white) while we made our own candy bars. The chef (and people in the shop) were super friendly and made a relaxed and fun environment. We ate at the cafe before and after our class. A bonus was the fun beers they also have in their cafe, so we had hot chocolate, coffee, beer, and lots of chocolate. The favorite of course was the chocolate fountain which we had on a cup of strawberries. The only thing we didn't know (which makes sense) is it takes about an hour after the class for the chocolate to harden. We were staying very close so it was not an issue for us. In fact, we stayed in the shop and ate and drank even more. We did refrigerate our chocolate in our hotel for the next couple nights as it was softening a bit. This was a highlight of our 2 weeks in Switzerland.

We arrived too late into town to do one of their chocolate making classes, but we still had to pop in and try the hot chocolate!

The staff here were amazing and the output of the workshop was 3 x bars of chocolate each - which exceeded my expectations. I was confused by the description of 'all you can eat'. The chocolate on offer to eat (other than an initial guided tasting) was either 'semi' dark (50%) or milk (30%) in button form. I prefer darker chocolate personally. No white chocolate buttons on offer for those who prefer this either. Correspondingly you could only make your own chocolate bar using 50% or 30%, so I ended up with 3 bars of chocolate that I wouldn't choose to buy / eat. It would be helpful if this is was clear in the workshop description. The workshop itself was pretty basic (to be expected given the duration / age range of participants), but fun and well led.
